Field Day
The one festival I have managed to find the money and the time away from my fruit fly to go to. Started by sitting on the grass to watch Willy Mason, ended with MDMA gob in my hair (an almost-fight involving a very high man broke out just behind us during John Cale) but happy nonetheless because we were right at the front for Warpaint.
Only saw the end of the Cloud Control set from the back of a large crowd in a much too small tent. So basically I didn't see it. But what I heard was amazing, reckon they would've been my favourite act of the day had I got there on time and not been distracted by jerk chicken; and the jerk chicken guy. Yum.

So many good things
June has brought after months of exam stress stress stressssss.
My Big 2 0
followed by an amazing trip to Berlin. By the end of the first day we were all hell bent on moving there. Took some touristy (uncool) photos
Was a lot of fun, it did at times get messy
Now June's fun is over, spending time hanging out in labs playing with fruit fly and reading about circadain rhythms (read day to night body clocks) for my third year project.
Somehow Berlin we shall meet again.
